The Animal Project
Here at Matthew moss high school in year eight, my world, we are determined to accomplish our goal of helping as well as learning about our interests which had to loosely, link with our community (Rochdale). The aspect we have chosen is a very, intriguing and fascinating topic which is structured like an enquiry question. This question is... Which different species of animals are indigenous to the north-west and how has human activity affected their population/adaptation?
As part of this very, interesting topic we have already organized a trip to St. Edwards Primary to help with the animals. You can read about that on our volunteer work page. We have as you may have read completed many different resources as well which have supported our learning. We have:
Interviewed members of staff at an animal sanctuary,
Produced a professional website,
Created leaflets,
Organized a volunteer work trip and most importantly, created awareness!
