The Animal Project
The Rochdale RSPCA work extremely hard to secure a safe environmentally, friendly place for their animals as well as stray animals and are devoted to what they do and try to achieve further. However, without the communities help they can’t achieve their ambitious goals. The RSPCA Rochdale is an individual RSPCA branch and has to raise over £1,000 every day to cover all costs. These costs include: animal treatment which costs a great deal for every individual animal, work labour from the staff, food, entertainment and Utilities. We are the community and it’s up to us to help them, they’re desperate for help- so desperate every night a member of staff have to stay at the animal shelter overnight.
Here are some ways we can help:
Try some volunteer work, they’re open from 11:30a.m to 3:30p.m every day except Wednesday. If you’re wondering how just call this number…01706 861897
Or email them at… rspcarochdale@btconnect.com
Or even visit them at the
Rochdale Animal Centre
1 Redcross St, Rochdale OL12 0NZ
If you even didn’t want to donate and you would rather buy the chosen animal that’s even better and you’ll be helping one of the many RSPCA branches who help secure the animals good, caring homes. You have to be 18 years of age to adopt any of the RSPCA’s animals and that is specifically, so the animals are not:
Miss treated,
Miss handled,
Neglected,
Abused,
Starved
And so there’s an adult around if anything goes wrong.
Here are some of the animal costs:
Rabbits (neutered, must be kept in pairs): £20
Ferrets (neutered and Micro-chipped):£20
Hamsters/Rats/Mice: £8
Guinea Pigs (neutered): £10
